Excitment tingled through out this girls body as she started off on her journey. She took her first step down the dirt path known as route one. Who knew what kind of things would happen to her on this joureny. All she knew that there was many things in store for her. Just how soon would they happen?? A smug smile was placed on her face as she took off with a hearty sigh. Just who was this teen age girl?? Akane Hatake.
In her hand was a pokeball that contained her second pokemon from the region. What pokemon was that?? The fire type known as Vulpix. "Come on out." Akane said with just a hint of excitment hidden in her voice. The pokeball opened and a beam of red light exploded from it. Soon a small fox like pokemon materialized in front of Akane.
Vulipix stretched for a moment before gazing over at Akane. So your my trainer, girl. You look powerful enough.. Akane looked at Vulpix with a smug smile. "I'm guessing you wouldn't want a nick name??" Vulpiz shook her head as she looked at Akane. No, actually I would like a nick name.. "Well ten I guess you'll be called Kyo." Kyo nodded showing that she liked the name.

A Mareep wondered into the area they were walking in. It looked up, looking confused.

Kyo slowly approached the Mareep, making sure that it wasn't a threat.
You were playing find it?? Heh, you need a trainer?? Kyo smirked as she looked over at Akane
I know a trainer that standing right behind us...
Akane stood there studying the Mareep.

Right over there. Kyo said as she motioned to Akane.
Akane slowly stepped over to the two not wanting to scare the wild pokemon. She knelt down as she eyed the Mareep. "That would be me."Akane said with a smug smile.

The Mareep didn't seem to understand Akance. <I don't see one. All I see is a really big, bright tree. What are you talking about?> it asked, looking even more confused. |

Kyo looked at the Mareep with a questioning look. It was obvious that the sheep like pokemon had never seen a human. She let a sigh escape her mouth before she spoke.
That big bright tree your talking about is my trainer...

Kyo let another sigh escape her mouth as she looked at the Mareep. Her tail waved back in forth bordley as she looked around. Kyo didn't answer for a moment as she looked at Akane.
Akane-chan, this Mareep wants you to go with it to prove that she saw a trainer..
Akane looked over at the Mareep with an expressionless face.
"If you wish Mareep. May I ask who your friend is??"

" I have this friend, Skitty, who says that I couldn't find a trainer. Oh boy, wait till she sends me with you! Now, come on! Follow me! "
The Mareep squealed joyfully, with a look of admiration plastered all over its face. It was strange that a wild Pokemon would be excited to find a trainer; they were usually fretful of humans.
The Electric Pokemon began to dash off into the bushes, expecting Akane and Kyo to follow. It poked its head out of the foilage, and waited patiently to see if the two were going to trail behind. |

Akane looked over at the Mareep with a look of joy.
"A Skitty, huh?? How interesting.."
Kyo looked over at Akane with a smirk then followed after athe pokemon with Akane following. The two followed after the Mareep into the bushes. Kyo trotted along quietly with the silent Akane next to her.

The Mareep smiled as Akane and Kyo followed, then it headed into the direction of what seemed to be an open field. Standing on top a hill was a Skitty, whom appeared to be looking around curiously for something.
" Hey, Skitty! I found a human! I proved you wrong! "
The Mareep giggled as it dashed towards the Skitty. The other Pokemon tilted its head as it saw the Mareep, then it looked over at Akane and Kyo with a look of discontent. |

Kyo looked over at Akane with a curious look then back the Mareep. Akane just walked on not saying a word as she saw an open field up ahead. Just at the top of the hill stood a Skitty.
Akane-chan..
Akane looked over at Kyo but said nothing.

The Mareep looked over at Akane and Kyo and waved a paw over to them, wanting them to come and meet the Skitty. However, the Skitty nudged the Mareep gently, and sutbly shook its head.
" I don't know if calling those two over is the greatest idea... Humans can't be trusted, you know... "
The pink Pokemon spoke quietly to the Mareep, with a nervous tone to its voice.
" Oh, don't be so scared! They're different, I'm sure of it! "
The Mareep responded, still with that smile. It didn't see anything wrong with Akane and Kyo, so why not invite them over? |

Before the two made way to the others Kyo stopped Akane.
Be careful Akane. That Skitty doesn't does trust us... Kyo said only loud enough that Akane would hear.
Akane nodded then slolwy made her way over to the Skitty and Mareep. She sat on her knees so that she was the level of the pokemon. Kyo slowly sat in Akane's lap and looked at the Skitty.
