" Yea? Well, what if you stayed up all night, hmm? Then of course I'd be sleeping during the middle of the day! "
The Skitty defended itself, angering by this Larvitar's rude behaviour. When Lyr shot it that cold and mean look, the Skitty's fur went on head, and the Pokemon began to hiss and spit at Yurae's Pokemon. The Pokemon didn't even notice the female's great interest in itself; it was too focused on that annoying Larvitar!
" Hah, your pet? Don't you mean that you're her pet? I thought that's how it went with trainer's Pokemon! "
The Skitty snickered, and returning the rude gesture by sticking out its tongue at Lyr. No way would that Pokemon get away with being rude to it like that! Even the Skitty ignored what Yurae had to say; it was about to settle this situation once and for all...

<Huh? Yeah -- Whatever Girlie. You think that, but I have amazing skills that can tame any human, forcing them to do what I them to. Just watch.>
Lyr answered, quite proud of himself in that moment despite the feline creature acting quite immaturely; after all, that standing fur and hissing was unbecoming of a young lady. Sadly, it would be ironic if indeed that Kitten was in fact a male, however, the Starter couldn’t care less over its gender -- No matter what it was, or how it acted, it would never be as fabulous as himself. Now that was a comforting thought that the Larvitar could smile about, showing off his flattering and ever pearly, milky teeth of… Wait, did he have teeth yet? Although instead of checking out such a pressing question, he instead turned his attention to Yurae, pointing a dull claw in her direction before swinging that arm towards the Skitty.
<Use Tackle now!> He commanded, waiting for his Pet to jump from her position and fling herself top of the cat -- Surely squishing it underneath all that weight. <Well, c’mon, I said attack.> The Rock & Ground critter repeated.
“What in the world are you talking about?…”
<Ghaa! Disobedient monster!> He replied to the Junior Trainer’s question, shooting mental daggers over in her direction before opening his mouth to speak yet again.
<Fine! I’ll settle this!>
With that, the chubby Larvitar dashed forward, prepared to use a Mud Slap and then to follow that with Tackle.

The Skitty shook its head when Lyr went on about his 'amazing' human-taming skills. This was a joke, right? The wild Pokemon obviously wasn't convinced by the Larvitar's ability to command his own trainer.
The Skitty watched as the Larvitar ordered his trainer to use a Tackle and appeared utterly confused. Wait, was that Larvitar asking his trainer to fight? That made no sense! Humans didn't battle Pokemon; Pokemon battled Pokemon!
Very irritated by Lyr's pathetic attempt to make his trainer battle, the Skitty grumbled when the Larvitar decided that he would have to settle this. What a waste of time this was going to be. Why did it have to battle this pest? Well, maybe it could shut it up!
Smirking, the Skitty merely stood there, almost looking as if it wasn't going to participate in this battle. It took the Tackle attack, but quickly jumped back into position.
" Watch this! I can make you drop to your knees and listen to me! "
The Skitty giggled, then hearts started appearing all around it. The hearts slowly drifted up to Lyr, trying to infatuate him with an Attract attack. Well, it was obvious now that the Skitty was female.

“Wait wait, no!”
Yurae screeched as Lyr flung himself forward into attacking position, her jaw dropping and her eyes visibly widened in sere shock. She watched as the Skitty stood there without much care, as if a tiny bug dared to challenge her until her Starter’s Tackle made impact. However she leapt back into her original stance, though this time the Kitten creature giggled in a sense, hearts dancing about her romantically. No -- It couldn’t be; Attract? Gees, what a cheese-ball of a skill, though it must be killer useful if you were on the blunt side of that cannon and not readying for the metallic ball. And of course, this led to the beast adoring a coat of pink trying to woo and infatuate her Larvitar… Her very, very boyish, ill mannered Larvitar.
“Oh c’mon, don’t fall for that! You’re too much of a rebel to be hooked by a lady! Do what you can not to fall under her spell, become gay if you have to! Please?! Just try to attack back, a Rock Slide should do!”

The Skitty listened to the panicking trainer, and giggled wildly. Oh man, this was great! Using the Attract attack sure seemed to stir up her emotions. The wild Pokemon wasn't sure if the Larvitar would be influenced though; he just didn't seem like the kind of Pokemon that fell in love easily. He seemed too... stubborn?
So, the Skitty watched to see if Lyr would be trapped in a love trance and unwilling to attack the Skitty, or if he could resist it and continue to attack. The Skitty hoped that things would swing in its favour, but this Larvitar was quite unpredictable, it seemed...

“I said a Rock Slide you dimwit!”
The Junior Trainer hollered, wondering if Lyr had fallen under the spell, or hopefully, was too in love with himself to be effected by it. Such a sad, pitiful notion to ponder about, but it was true in her own opinion; she’d barely had that Larvitar for a full day and he proved to be the most selfish critter. Oh well -- Maybe he’d grow out of it, after all, he was a babe, and aren’t all newborns self centered… Yet as she peered up at her Starter, spotting him hugging himself tightly in warm embraces of confusion, that concept flew out the window. As if he’d ever change…
“Don’t make me get Mythril out here!” Yurae threatened, switching her mood from one of mild depression to her jumpy irritation; the child wielding yet another Pokéball in one of her hands, caught between her spider-leg fingers. “Or make me chuck rocks and berries at you! I can do either!”

Well, it seemed that the Attract worked... well, sort of anyways.
The Larvitar was supposed to fall in love with the Skitty, but it seemed that he just fell in more love with himself. Ha, that was pretty funny. The Skitty giggled, happy that its attack worked out alright. Besides, it wasn't too keen about having Lyr like it; his... strange habits kind of creeped it out.
Since the Larvitar was busy hugging himself and basking in his own self-admiration, the Skitty took another chance to attack. It began to dash up to Lyr, going in to use a Tackle attack. Ha, this was too great!

A ball was tossed into the air, that red and white sphere swirling about madly as it was thrown by the given hand, this of course having to be Yurae. However, instead of hurling an empty device at the Kitten Pokémon, this one was already occupied by one of the Junior Trainer’s secret creatures. Hopefully, her Skarmory would burst from the cage, protecting Lyr or perhaps taking stance as the girl searched for her Larvitar’s Pokéball through a number of bags.
“I’m sorry Skitty, but Lyr is too young and inexperienced to be hurt like that. However, I believe Mythril can take a beating.” She spoke with a wink, continuing to look for Lyr’s… Aha! There it was! So with a flick of her wrist, the teen tried to return her Starter, wishing to use him at a better time if this was allowed.

The Skitty's jaw dropped when Yurae released the large bird composed of steel, taking a stand before the Larvitar. Aww man, its fun was over now! The wild Pokemon grumbled when the female returned her Larvitar into his Pokeball and left Mythril out to battle.
The pink creature stepped back a bit and had a look of concentration on its face. It totally had to change its plans now that this Skarmory was its opponent. Hissing with discontent, the Pokemon spun around, facing away from Mythril. Was it going to escape? Well... no, it was actually using a Tail Whip. The Skitty waved its large pink tail at the Steel and Flying Pokemon, trying to weaken the creature sturdy defense.

“You’re going to have to try harder than that Skitty.”
Yurae cooed, a chuckle hidden underneath, following close behind as she watched as the Kitten Pokémon wiggled its tails, trying to lower Mythril’s defense. But in all honesty, the Junior Trainer wasn’t worrying over the state of her Skarmory’s armor; no, she’d be taking the offensive branch now. So with a content grin, the teen shifted her weight before pointing a slender, willowy finger out onto the grassy, soil bond battlefield. Though despite her current attitude, the girl of silver locks did feel guilty for swapping her creatures out, but as she told the feline, Lyr was much too young to endure that sort of punishment. However, Yurae managed to push those maddening thoughts from her head, bringing her attention back to tactics and what she could possibly do to win the fight.
“Mythril, push that Skitty back with a Swift. It should do some damage, but what I really want is distance at the moment before shooting her a Leer.”

The Skitty saw the glowing stars from the Swift attack spin towards it, whimpering when the sharp objects repeatedly ran into it. Swift couldn't be avoided, so there was no point in moving out of the way.
After taking the attack, the Skitty looked up at the Skarmory's eyes, seeing that the armored bird was sending it a chilling Leer. The wild Pokemon stepped back a bit, with some of the defense scared out of it.
Shaking the fears away, the Skitty finally looked ready to attack. If a cute Tail Whip wouldn't penetrate through Mythril's defense much, then there was no point using it. So, the Skitty began to make its way towards Yurae's Pokemon at an agile speed, using Tackle.
